3.) Knowing how experience I am as a voice actor in a way, a local radio station banned me for being “Too Over-Talented.” I didn’t know if that was negative advise and a positive advise; but I think jealousy play a part of them by rejecting what I had to offer to help out at a community radio station that says one thing and then thinks another.
I one of thousands here in the City Of Boston has been overlooked based on my art, video and voice skills. I tried Craigslist, and it seems that they are not looking for me; (Well, some) but I kept on doing what I had to do to reach out to my listening audience that love the 4 hour internet radio show. So, no, I had no job offers who are looking for ideas from people like me. So I moved right along and continued what I do best; and that’s to inform and play music for my listening audience in my local community from my website.
4.) Everything has been home schooling. The reason why I couldn’t get into a school because of no credit, denials of college vouchers. I’m one of thousands out there that were unfortunate and never got a chance of an opportunity to get my foot in the door to get my name out there.
No one taught me how to draw art; how to do DJ Drop-Ins; how to do voice over; how to create sounds effects; how to do voice editing; how to put a internet radio station together with no heavy expensive equipment.
No one has ever taught me to do any of that talent but me. I’ve be doing videos and photos and began doing internet radio with great expertise without any schools that would offer me a chance to increase my video ad audio experience; which resulted in home schooling which was a success and the radio show is excellent!
5.) Well, since a have some space in my apartment where I can set up my radio show; I have a computer with high speed internet access; printers; a speaker phone connecting my callers; 5 microphones with stands; cable cords for the right connections; a wave pad editor to create my radio show, etc. Not a whole lot of stuff, but enough to give the radio show what it’s needs to sound already professional. Plus, an official website streaming on demand show 24/7 from today or yesterday.
6.) My dream goal is to take this internet radio station into syndication based out of Boston; being the first syndicated radio show in Boston to go syndication for other marketing radio stations to pick up. I have volunteers who deliver the news. I myself put today’s music of Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggaeton; Classic Soul and R&B to my radio show along with sound byte segments of “The Maury Show;” “Hannity and Colmes” from Fox News; ESPN News. I let callers call up and express their minds on what’s on their minds for today.
I have experience “The Good, The Bad, The Sad & The Ugly” when the callers call up before I edit and then clean it up before airing. Some can be funny, and some can be serious.
I’ve learn how to do commercials, that when I stumble which I do a lot, I can go back and edit, fix it and replace what I messed up to have a perfect voice commercial. As a matter of fact, I’m about to do some commercials (non-paid) for my up coming radio shows, heard around the globe.
I love doing these kinds of projects from the heart and money doesn’t come to mind; but hopefully that all can change if giving that opportunity to reach out to more of the listening audience.
