I've done VO work for Aids Project Los Angeles as a reassuring and caring narrator. I've done several voiceovers/narration for History Channel shows and a old fashioned newscaster for ACDC's in concert video presentation, but if you want an idea of what I can do, listen to the demo. After 26 years in the promo business, much has entered my bloodstream.
I've been mixing promo since 1988 and have worked with the best. From Don LaFontaine and Ernie Anderson, up to the current masters like Jim Tasker, Ashton Smith, and Tony Rodgers. Being around such great talent has shaped my understanding of the craft. Since the beginning of my career, producers and VO talent alike have encouraged me to make it a profession. To that end, I am currently training with Marice Tobias, a real legend in the Voiceover business.
I have a home studio as well as full access to other studios. I work on ProTools as well as Sequoia digital workstations. My mic of choice is the Neumann U87, but also work with a Sennheiser 416.
At home, I use a DeMedio Engineering DME 103 preamp running through Tascam DM-24 console.
I monitor on JBL LSR 28ps and Auratone 5c, or at outside studios, Genelec 1032a and Dynaudio BM6 mkIII.
I work a swing shift at a major network, mixing promo. I can provide full audio post services on all types of projects and have done so since 1988. I've worked on everything from major motion pictures to informercials & reality tv, lots of radio experience as well as orchestras, big bands, rap and rock & roll. I am a musician and a vocalist, although only as a hobby. And for a little variety, I've worked for as a Chaplain at County Jail in Los Angeles 14 years.
