Voice Description

I have a very versatile voice for a wide range of narrations and commercial project needs. Though my voiceovers have included approximately 110 characters, my actual "solid" working voices include about a dozen characters, with many more that are being fine-tuned.

My most important attribute is my ability to take direction! I love meeting a voice challenge!!

My natural speaking voice is fairly "mid-range", so my narrations are also. But I have the ability to "go low" or "high" and use whatever inflection and emphasis is necessary. I also do very well reading technical terms and tongue twisters!

I'm a great mimic on hearing another voice for the first time, and have a lot of experience adapting voice characters to fit visual images and caricatures, etc. I have also played multiple characters within the same session on a number of projects.

My foreign accents include: Irish, German, Russian & Eastern European, Southern(deep south)Brooklyn, Minnesotan, Hillbilly, Farmer and more.

I get very close on Bullwinkle, Underdog/Wally Cox, Charles Lawton/Captain Bly,
Also: I've been a horse, cat, several times I was a dog (being in the doghouse on numerous occasions has given me special insight), reindeer, whale, bear, owl, porcupine, badger, chipmunk, and a host of inanimate objects, i.e.--candy bar, chair, doormat, pencil.

My Voice Experience

My full-range experience includes many narrations and character voices: corpoarte video narrations from industrial to high-tech/scientific, PSA's, a limited number (a handful) of commercials, to over 1500 on-hold message scripts. I've read parts in many children's shows, animations and instructional programs in which I played multiple characters. I have also brought company mascots to life, voiced in-store promotions, foreign accent translation parts. Character roles include: Animated Reindeer, Forest Ranger, Willy The Whale, German Chef, Cow, Golfball, Singer, 105 year old man, Polish, Russian & Chadian accent-translator, Anime / Cartoon, Piece of candy, Elf, Crowd noise-- and more.
