My Voice Experience

With over 25 years in the broadcast industry and multiple roles in theatre productions, I'm able to develop voices and characterizations that make your product or production stand out from all the rest. I have produced more spots and voice overs than I could possible count. Most recently, I produced an ad campaign for an area shopping mall for their holiday season that featured 4 distinct voices. I produce and write an average of 3 radio spots per week.

My Training

I earned a BA from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1985. My major was Broadcast and Film Studies with a minor in Journalism. Much of my course work was in writing and speech. Having been blessed with a natural voice ability, my talent naturally led me into the field of radio broadcast. I also possess a love of theatre, having performed diverse roles from Ebenezer Scrooge and Henry Potter in "It's A Wonderful Life" to Don Carney (a thick New Jersey accent), to characters with British, Eastern European, Southern, New England and Russian accents. My abilities also allow me to perform over 60 different vocal impressions including: Jack Nicholson,
Johnny Carson, John Wayne, Jimmy Carter,
Henry Kissinger, Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, Ronald Reagan, Walter Brennan, Walter Cronkite, Rodney Dangerfield, Gary Cooper, Sylvester Stallone, LBJ, Keith Jackson, Sir Winston Churchill, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bulwinkle Moose, Yogi Bear, numerous characters from The Simpsons, Rich Little and many more!

My Studio Equipment

Standard equipment includes: CD player, sfx and music libraries. Editing equipment includes: Adobe Audition and Cool Edit Pro. Can even "resurrect" audio from Reel-to-reel or cassette.

Additional Skills

I have a keen interest in sports, nature and history. I lead an active lifestyle that keeps me "young at heart". I am a licensed scuba diver and have also performed as PA for professional football, baseball and basketball franchises. I'm also a voracious reader on many topics, which makes me well versed on many subjects. I'm also involved in the performing arts in acting, directing, producing and stage lighting and design. In my spare time also enjoy dabbling in photography.
