Impersonations are well over 200, ranging from Ronald Reagan to Eric Cartman from South Park and everything in between.
My Voice Experience
I have recorded well over 200 radio commercials for production houses such as Big City Productions of Minneapolis and the Mudd Group of Cedar Falls, IA and Chicago,IL, as well as smaller production studios here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have also recorded countless radio station ID's even though I have never worked directly for a radio station. I have also done work on video game projects for Phantom EFX latest project Darkest of Days. I perform stand-up comedy fairly regularly and I have opened for Wild Bill Bauer and Judah Friedlander of NBC's 30 Rock. I presently perform with Eastern Iowa's premier Improv troupe Comics in Action, I also perform with the critically acclaimed live movie riffing troupe RiffRaff Theater, a project created with the approval and support of Mike Nelson of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
My Training
I have a BA in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa. In addition to performing with my Improv and movie riffing troupe I am also somewhat active with local theater here in Cedar Rapids.
My Studio Equipment
There are two different studios here in Cedar Rapids that I typically use. Both use high end Audio Technica compressor Microphones and completely soundproof booths. They are both also Fully digital. One with a 32 channel board and one with a 64 channel board. The 32 channel is Microsoft capable and the 64 channel is run with Mac.
Additional Skills
I have a true passion for voice acting, and in that capacity I have formed some relationships with people that have been very helpful to me in my pursuits. People such as Billy West of Ren & Stimpy and Futurama fame. As well as working with Gary Kroeger. Gary is from my hometown, and was a 4 year cast member on Saturday Night Live, as well as a voice talent himself on the animated series Cat/Dog.
