I have worked in radian, television, advertising, sports and news for over 25 years. At each stop along the way I have used my voice for a variety of projects. I am not devoted full time to voice over work.
I have done voice over work for the National Hockey League, Westwood One, Comcast and assorted radio and television stations.
A 1985 graduate of Ohio University, I earned a BSC and spent four years doing radio and television.
From 1989- 1995 I worked in radio and television in New Hampshire and New Jersey. I held both on-air and production jobs, including writing and producing.
From 1995-2000 I was with the NHL in the Broadcasting Department, including producing "This Week in the NHL."
I spent two years as Director of Marketing at Westwood One Radio including voicing a multitude of spots and promos.
I also worked as a writer and producer for nine years at NBC News and MSNBC.
I have done freelance voice over and copywriting work for twenty years.
I have a home studio with an Audio Technica 2020 mic and I use both Garage Band and Audacity for software. All my voice over work is studio quality.
I love this work. I enjoy collaborating with clients and learning all there is to know about them before recording a voice track. I am easy going and fun to work with. I am very good at taking direction and at making any necessary changes or tweaks to a script on the fly.
I was raised by a father who was one of the giants of the advertising business during the "Mad Men" era. He penned such iconic campaigns as Bounty: "The Quicker-Picker-Upper", Hellmann's: "Bring Out The Hellmanns And Bring Out The Best." Duracell: "No Regular Battery Looks Like It Or Lasts Like It" and many others.
I have been around the business in one form or another since birth. I understand voice overs from the client side, the production side and this side of the microphone.
