My first paid voice over was for narrating a film titled The Aged Land, produced in 1961 by the director of film for the U. of Ariz. Hosted the evening shift for a classical FM station in Tucson including commercials and news for several months at that time. Did some paid work the 80's for a studio in Barrington, Il. Otherwise, my work has been primarilly as an actor. My last professional work was reading biblical text for a scriptural rosary pair of CDs--www.SonsofJoseph.net.
A good deal of oral interpretation course work at the U. of Ariz. leading to a degree in
speech at SanFrancisco State in 1962. Two Masters: one from Western Michigan in 1967 and the other from U. of Il. in 1985. Early acting experience in summer stock in Manistee, Michigan, 1957-8. Performed with fellow troops in Korea ('59-'60), filmed and recorded and touring as MC and singer. Numerous acting and directing experiences thereafter.
Mine is very limited. I've recorded on cassette tape at home with some success, though not with the best editing.
I've recently been recording poetry: Elliot, Poe, Browning, etc. with satisfying responses from listeners.
