Voice Description

My voice naturally feels fast but sophisticated. Most people listening to me feel strength and confidence behind the voice, but I can perform characterizations that drastically alter this impression. In normal conversation people find me serious and direct, but again this can be altered to be exciting and whimsical when needed. I love to come up with silly voices for cartoons and caricatures and can slip into and out of them easily within narration.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

North American English, Southern Accent English, British Accent English, Irish Accent English, Scottish Accent English, Russian Accent English, Most other English accents can be learned if given a few hours of practice. I do a very poor Sean Connery that is laughable because it sounds enough like him to obviously not be him (more like the caricature from Saturday Night live). I can do a very over the top Kenned-ian accent.

My Voice Experience

My talent heretofore includes only on stage performances in over a dozen plays and staged readings. Staged readings require the voice to truly bring the characters to life since there is no acting on the set, only reading from a script and reacting with your voice to the characters around you. It is a great way to work on vocal flexibility as the traditional acting tools of movement and expression are not very helpful.

My Training

My experience is on the stage, but I do not have formal training from any academies or voice schools. I am a dedicated student of the dramatic arts but as a hobby. I had minimal training in classes in High School and College in the acting field.

My Studio Equipment

At this point, my studio consists of my PC at home with voice recording software and a microphone.

Additional Skills

I am in business. I understand how business works and I am very easy to work with. I am not a high-maintenance performance diva as acting and voice work are a hobby of mine that I do because I love it. I try to make a little money on the side when I can, but it is a 'second option' for me and not my primary focus.
