In 1993, I spent 2 days being taught Radio Broadcast Presenting, with Bruno Brookes and Neil James (both ex BBC Radio 1 presenters) at Bruno's Radio School.
My performing experience goes back to the mid 1980's, when I joined Kids Theatre run by ACTA (Avon Community Theatre Agency) in Bristol.. Then in 1991, I joined the Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre, acting in various plays and Youth Theatre Productions on stage at the Bristol Old Vic. Where I also helped to develope a script and production about the history of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre Company (which started back in the 1940's in London at the Old Vic).
Also in 1991, I got asked to join a local Theatre Agent called 'Robert Smith', where I got my first taste of working on-screen.
In early 1994, I got cast in a part playing a student artist, on a Childrens BBC Drama called 'Blackhearts in Battersea'.
From then on, I have worked on-screen as a actor in many TV dramas such as Casualty, East Enders, Dangerfield, Silent Witness and more.
In 1994, I enrolled on a 2-year BTEC Performing Arts Course, at Filton College in Bristol. This was the place where I met up and became good friends with Justin Lee Collins (of course Justin is now a popular TV presenter, currently presenting The Friday Night Project, on Channel 4).
In 1996, I got a small part (playing a footman) in a costume drama for BBC TV called 'Tom Jones - A History of a Foundling' an adaptation based on the books by Henery Fielding. I featured in most of this production, acting alongside principal actors Max Beesley, Samantha Morton, Brian Blessed, Kathy Burke and Tessa Peak-Jones.
