I have done voice work for learning CDs for musicals, including Camp Rock and The Wizard of Oz. I am also working with Tourdesign Creative (part of Live Nation) who does concert tour promotion for huge artists like Usher, Pink, and Big Time Rush. Mostly I perform in opera, musical theater, and as a musician and songwriter in Nashville.
I have learned a lot from my grandfather, Joe Garagiola Sr., who has had a huge career in announcing, radio, and tv. I have a degree from Belmont University in Commercial Piano, as well as studying voice for four years with Thomas Studebaker. I also workshop at The Actor's School in Frankin, TN, and study privately with Ed Couppee. I'm a songwriter and perform in my band Mother Honey as a singer, keyboardist, and producer, and play with other artists in Nashville, to name a few: Striking Matches, Josh Holiday, Chase Foster, Rayvon Owen, and Kristen Rogers.
I use the most recent version of Logic, and also use Ableton Live, Reason, and a variety of plugins (all Spectrasonics, Alicia's Keys, VB3). I use a Focusrite ISA One Preamp and the Firestudio Project Interface that runs into my Macbook Pro. I use a Blue ball mic for vocals, but also have a variety of SM57's and a couple DMX mics. I have a small setup in my house that I have tuned to get great sounds out of.
I'm a renaissance man of talents, and will learn a new skill if I cant already do it (I just learned harmonica for a musical). I'm easy to work with, very flexible and ready to get you what you need as soon as you need it.
