I worked in New York City for 13 years, and in San Juan, Puerto Rico for 12 years, as a bilingual (English and Spanish) voice over and on-camera actor for TV, radio, corporate industrials, music videos, etc. I have also worked as a sports color commentator/announcer for DirecTV, ESPN, and Univision. I can make positive contributions to any project by tapping into the many years of experience I have in Voice Overs and the production of TV documentaries, and consider the many cultural and life experiences I am fortunate to have had from living all over the world (NYC, Southern California, Michigan, Puerto Rico, France, Italy, Australia, and Japan) a great asset in this business.
I studied Voice Overs with Dan Duckworth of Voice Overs Unlimited in NYC and David Heeley (6 time Emmy Award winning Producer/Director/Writer) of Top Hat Productions Inc. in NYC, Acting for Commercials with Bob Collier and Richard Scanlon in NYC, and Acting, Scene Study, and Improvisation with Diane Shalet and Bobby Lewis (Founder of the Group Theater and the Actors' Studio) at the Bobby Lewis Theater Workshop in NYC.
I have very basic recording capabilities (Audacity and a good microphone) at my home studio in Puerto Rico for quick tests, demos, etc. but have total access to professional state-of-the-art recording studios in San Juan, Puerto Rico and in NYC when needed.
Besides being a 100% "Team Player" and having a very service oriented and professional disposition, I am also a writer of TV and radio copy in English and Spanish, and have many years of experience as a researcher and producing TV documentaries for Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and the Public Broadcast Service (PBS), as well as producing Public Service Announcements (PSA's) for the Government of Puerto Rico and for the San Juan National Historic Site of the U.S. National Park Service. I sincerely believe that having hands-on experience in all these related production aspects makes me that much more valuable for any project.
