Corporate Video Voice Over – IBM

For the corporate branding launch and sales kick-off conference event at a new IBM division, Rich provided copywriting services and served as the on-camera / voice over talent for the opening video interstitial. The goal of the conference video was to introduce and build excitement for the new division’s brand. Rich’s delivery for this corporate video voiceover was warm, enthusiastic, and passionate.

Live and On-demand Webinar Voice Over – B2B Technology Company

Pre-production and post-production services included the planning, production, and marketing for a series of six webinars. Each webinar voice over role was as moderator, introducing the webinar topic and featured speakers, and moderating the Q&A session. In addition to the webinar voice over responsibility, Rich also provided the moderator script copywriting, and was responsible for planning and directing the integrated marketing campaign to drive attendance to the live event and then to the on-demand webinar recordings placed on the website. Rich’s delivery for this webinar voiceover was conversational, friendly / casual, and persuasive.

Flash Demo Voice Over – Aprimo, Inc.

Rich performed voice over talent duties in a series of Flash demos for this enterprise software company. This Flash demo series, entitled “Meet the Marketing Team,” introduced each of the firm’s software products using role-based scenarios. In his voiceover role, Rich introduced each of the products, plus in one of the episodes, played the role of “The IT Guy.” Rich set the tone for this Flash demo voiceover as expressive, knowledgeable, and smooth.

Podcast Voice Over – Marketing services company

Rich produced, directed, and performed the announcer voice over role in a podcast series of over 350 episodes, entitled “What’s Working in Biz.” Featuring business experts, each 3-minute episode contained actionable advice on topics such as negotiating, selling skills, marketing, and small business. Rich’s tone for this podcast voiceover was enthusiastic, powerful, and authoritative.

eLearning Voice Over – Healthcare professional society
Students of this online course were graduate students and post-docs. For the majority, English was their second language. Rich’s tone was an approachable, friendly, big-brother type who happens to know more than the student, but is there to help.

Email Newsletter Voice Over – Maquina Realty

For this shopping center investment firm, Rich performed the “non-announce” announcer voice-over role. The goal of this 12-week email marketing campaign was to generate a lift in new investment proposals by using the power of voice. Each email newsletter featured links to audio clips of shopping center industry experts discussing topics such as retail trends, property management, shopping center development, legal services, and financial services. Rich’s delivery style for this email newsletter voiceover was genuine warmth and business professional.

Tele-messaging / Voice Messaging Voice Over – Mid-size Software Company

Rich performed copywriting and voice-over for this tele-messaging campaign. The outbound voice-message invited the company’s customers and marketing database to an event and directed them to a website for more information and registration. Rich set the tone for this voice messaging voiceover as conversational, humorous, and low-key.

I am a veteran of corporate marketing and field marketing operations with business-to-business (B-to-B) companies ranging from start-ups to Global 100. In addition to voice over, my passion is developing demand generation programs that produce measurable results.

I volunteer each week with IRIS Radio (Indiana Reading Information Service) at NPR affiliate WFYI in Indianapolis, Indiana. IRIS serves the “print impaired” (blind, illiterate, etc.) with live and recorded programming, including newspaper reads and the Great Books program. I record audio books for Great Books and am an occasional substitute for live newspaper reads.
