My voice experience is in radio production in a small to medium market setting. Starting in 1980 a a small radio station in Beloit, Kansas, doing straght voice and a few character voice commercials. This extended thru stations in Kansas and Missouri. Is 1983, I moved to Mississippi, working at stations in Meridian and Coumbus, Mississippi, doing more character voices for commercial and live programs. Through the 1990's Idi much the same at stations serving the Tuscaloosa, Alabama and McComb, Mississippi markets. I currently work at American Family Radio in Tupelo, Mississippi, a national Christian broadcast network as a part-time on-air personality and an engineer (that what pays the bills...sort of).
All my voice training is OJT in 27 years of broadcasting.
I have been able to make a good living in radio, and I consider my voice talent to be better than average. Most of the time when I am hired as an engineer, I have been told, "Man, I didn't know you could do production." I can, I have, and I will. I can do it for you, if you wish.
