As part of my training at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting, I interned at radio station WRMN/WJKL in Elgin, IL, where I wrote, produced, and performed over one hundred commercials for local businesses.
I've also volunteered at CRIS Radio, a Chicago service which reads books and news items for the blind.
My paid experience has included two cable television commercials for AT&T.

Prolific actor in community theater, playing such characters as Ebenezer Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" (Wheaton Drama, Inc., Wheaton, IL, 2001), the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz" (Stagecoach Players, DeKalb, IL, 2004), Merlyn and Dap in "Camelot" (Town Square Players, Woodstock, IL, 2006), Don John in "Much Ado About Nothing (Riverview Theatre, McHenry, IL, 2009), Caesar Rodney in "1776" (Town Square Players, Woodstock, IL, 2010), and a total of seven characters in four different productions of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," including Puck and Bottom.
I have a friend whose system comprises a microphone and the Audacity editing program. And thanks to my ICB training, I know my way around an editing suite.
I'm an excellent writer and proofreader, and can tell when one word might be better than another in a line of copy.
