Earlier this year, I worked as a reporter for a local radio station. There, I reported scores and highlights for high school basketball games.
My most recent job was doing research involving watching violent movies and video games. My duties were to monitor a group of people taking surveys and recording statistics for the video games volunteers played.
Right now, I work at a Kroger Grocery store in Holt, MI. My job is to stock produce. Another grocery store in which I worked was VG's Food Center. I worked at a deli counter, helping customers with their orders, the produce section, re-stocking items and preparing them, and as a service clerk, where I bagged and helped load groceries for customers.
February 2008, I was a reporter for a radio station in Howell, MI, WHMI 93.5 FM. While attending high school basketball games in the Livingston County area, I gave brief reports of scores and highlights of boys or girls basketball games, and those reports were later aired on the show known as Game Night. I gave two reports for each game. Now, football season is starting, and I have been asked to work again for Game Night.
I became interested in voiceovers from watching cartoon shows such as the Simpsons and Family Guy. After hearing the voices, I would practice them to myself and friends in my free time. My favorite voice would have to be Reverend Lovejoy on the Simpsons voiced by Harry Shearer.

I feel that I have a strong, positive voice, which could prove to be important for this position. I have also thought about going into radio broadcasting for a career. Talk radio is one field I believe would be fun and fulfilling.
