Voice Over became a passion from my father who started at WCCO as a news reporter moving eventually to WNBC. Fond of pulling pranks, as a kid, he had me broadcast faux news headlines on a sound system that echoed throughout Rockefeller Center’s lower level.
Every script has the potential for passion no matter what its content is- from a 30 second commercial on the scripture of tanerexic sun products to Moses prose- it’s all sound that can go beyond the copy –through the copy- to motivate, enhance and inspire.
