Voice Description

I am a total chameleon. As previously noted my voice is of a mid-range to low frequency with a calming/soothing quality. With added monotony I would make a great hypnotist. I speak english as a first language, decent spanish and a little arabic. accents and mimicry are my strongpoints. in particular. spanish(various dialects), russian, jamaican, japanese, medieval english, french, brooklyn Italian, african(ghana), british,
american south, urban ghetto. I have yet to find one that I couldnt pull off in a few days. I can mimic personalities and voices I.e. al pacino,eddie murphy, popeye, you name it. I love a challenge and can peg any voice or accent in a day or two. Money back guaranteed!

My Voice Experience

I have no formal experience. this is just a freakish talent that I have had since childhood. I observe and listen and then began to mimic the person until a point comes when I no longer feel like myself, but have taken on a foreign vibration. sometimes when I am in this zone I can almost read the thoughts of my subjects, like a kind of telempathy. I think it comes from a general love of people in general. This talent developed without my conscious awareness until it became so refined that I could no longer ignore it or the constant insistence of friends and strangers to pursue this as a possible living.

My Training

I am a natural. I challenge anyone to find a voice or accent I am incapable of doing in a day or two. I do sing and comefrom a family of artists and musicians. But like I said I just developed a freakish capacity for this below a conscious level. And lately I find It hard to ignore the reactions I produce from observers.

My Studio Equipment

Aple G4 with protools Digi 01, and an m-box. audio technica mic and an AKG c3000. for sampling and production I use an akai mpc2000 and a korg triron work station. I also have various instruments such as guitars, basses a viola and an oud.
