My voice is "female succinct". I come across as professional and enunciate my words, especially telephone numbers, very well. I would describe my tone of voice as sultry/professional, easily understood, bubbly and warm. Depending on the request I have a multi-dimensional voice. I can be straight to the point professional, distinctly succinct and articulate, I can be fun and fast paced for children's books or businesses or commercials, smooth and sexy for adult businesses or match making corporations, or high pitched or excited when describing a fabulous offer or promotion. I can also be empathetic and change my voice dramatically when recording for businesses involving illness or loss. My voice can be strong and forceful as needed, or soft and empathetic if required. Willing to do adult content voice overs as needed. I am not open to all types of voice over requirements, wording, verbiage or special requests.

My Voice Experience

My current full time role is that of a Director with a Healthcare company. I am constantly asked to record IVR messages and I also do some Press Release work for other agencies. Prior to this role, I acted as a Customer Service manager, but also as voice talent for another Healthcare/Pharmaceutical company. I was responsible for their call center IVR and voice messaging work for multiple clients and divisions of the company. I recorded more than fifty separate voice mail prompt greetings for their separate client corporations (medical and pharmaceutical) as well as for the company itself. With HMS, another medical company, I was contracted to do their greeting messages, on hold messages, and executive voice mail greetings, IVR and all Clinical Trial extension recordings. United Health Care also used my voice on its internal messaging system. Since 1996 I have been hired by family corporations and employers to be the "voice" of their company. I have experience with the proper dialect and timing required for multiple call center lines, on hold and greeting messaging, and voice over experience replacing their former talent. I have done work for United Health Care, Amerisource Bergen, ICS, Prosper Police Department, HMS in New York . I am a former professional model and actress with some print and movie credit on . Heathcare, Insurance, Medical Terminology and Clinical Trial informational recordings are areas of specialty focus.

My Training

I have an MBA with a major in Healthcare Administration. I have been in the call center industry recording multiple voice over messages such as on hold messaging, prompting, return to operator, specialty recordings for Spanish (I do not speak Spanish)or TDD, out of the office messages, fun promotional messaging and holiday messaging for many years. I have more than 10 years of experience recording IVR, PBX, Voicemail, Extensions and speciality telephone recordings replacing either non-existent or former voice talent. I have been asked on multiple occasions to re-record messaging and announcements for companies to replace their former talent. I am a former professional model and actress with some print and movie credit. I consider my rates affordable and competetive and do offer rate discounts for non-profit or charitable organizations.

I do not have my own studio, however, I've done work in local studios and have good equipment to upload FTP files.

Additional Skills

I have extensive healthcare background, which is in demand especially that of proper pronunciation and articulation of medical verbiage. I am eager to learn and will re-record a voice over or message until the client is happy with the result. I can be on call at any time to change messaging relative to system outages, inclement weather messaging, change in staffing or other emergency needs that may arise from a client after hours. I have been highly successful in the medical field for more than 15 years. I can record via telephone system with access codes directly into your phone system, in person in the Dallas/Fort Worth/North Dallas/Sherman area, or via voice demo or overnight CD. I can record voice overs for any industry and am eager to work on your project!
