My Voice Experience

I am new to the voice over career, so just getting started. This is something that I have always wanted to look into doing, because I have a great voice for it.
Doing childrens books has really appealed to me also, mostly because my wife and kids have told me that my voice relaxes them and puts them to sleep..even my cat seems to enjoy my voice! ha :)

My Training

No training in Voice Overs, put spent several years in Music Choir and performed in few plays during school years.

My Studio Equipment

In process of purchasing my own equipment at this time, as i said i am new to this. There are several studios in my area that I can use and I also know several people that have a home studio that I can use.
The equipment i am looking to buying is porta-booth pro by voice essentials and harlan hogan. they also recommend mackie voice mixers.

Additional Skills

I am retired military, have degree in crimianl justice and natural resources. worked in jobs from construction to environmental scientist. Have also lived in many states, including japan.
Love to travel and love the outdoors.
Working with children has always been a pleasure to me, so my interest in recording childrens books comes from this. Always enjoyed reading to children and playing the different characters. This has enabled me to impersonate characters for their amuzement.
