As an aspiring voice actress I've taken part in a few productions such as the Hermione's Letter Radioplay by Firestarter Studios where I played Mrs Granger, and voice over work for a videogame movie 'Oblivion' by Macabre Productions.
I was particularly pleased when asked to voice for Miss Moneypenny in an audioplay of Casino Royale, I hope to continue voice acting her character in future audioplays.
I've also played the part of the Time Lady Melissa in the Doctor Who Audio Drama production of "The Call of Pudsey".
I've sung backing vocals for various groups including two songs on Wilberforce's upcoming new album and my voice has been sampled in a techno track.
Most of my work has been recorded at home using my PC and my own recording software which I can use to add other tracks to my recordings if required but I've also travelled to studios to record as necessitated by the job.
I have had to speak in front of both large and small audiences since before I left school, I was a member of the schools debating team as well as taking part in various productions. Since then I have spoken at various meetings and given presentations on my work as a molecular biologist to various scientic conferences.
I have left research now but still find myself addressing varied audiences as I've taken up politics at a local level. For this I have received some training in protecting and projecting my voice - however, I currently have purple hair so may not fit the image you would like to portray if you are looking for someone to go on-camera or talk to a live audience.
I'm quite adept with scientific jargon, I have a degree in Molecular Biology and an avid interest in other sciences as well.
