Since I was a little girl, I have been imitating members of my family. I have wanted to be an actor my entire life and attended school for it, which is where I realized that my passion really lies in what I can do with my voice. I am always doing silly voices for my friends or imitating ones I hear that I like. When I found out you could make a career just with your voice, I immediately read everything I could about how to get into the voice-over industry and have since been training, creating my demo and practicing and trying to gain as much experience as possible. With the convenience of a professional home recording studio, I can deliver edited and finished voice recordings to clients using any method they choose.
I graduated from Drew University in May 2006 with a degree in Theatre Arts and History. I also spent a semester in London in 2005 studying theatre, where I received dialect training with Miriam Karlin. I received speech and voice training with Tess Dignan and Adrienne Thomas as well. I have taken Susan Berkley's Voice-Over Bootcamp Weekend Workshop, as well as her 8-Week Voice-Over Teleclass. Most recently, I participated in the Such A Voice Voice-Over Introduction Class as well as their Masterclass and demo recording.
I record everything using ProTools 8 on my MacBook Pro. I own a DigiDesign Mbox, M-Audio Professional speakers, Sony Professional headphones and an M-Audio Nova condenser microphone.
