Well, truth be told, I'm just starting out, and I want to get my foot in the door in animation. Hopefully this will help me get there.
I've no education in voice acting, most of what I can do is self taught through constant listening and practice, just like anything else I can do.
I am currently subscribed to Crispin Freeman's Voice Acting Mastery (VAM) podcasts, and there is actually a lot I have learned from these already. Soon, I will be signing up for his online classes, and perhaps even sign up for private coaching.
I've never used any audio equipment before, but I am always game to give anything a shot. As of right now, any voice work I create is edited using Adobe Soundbooth; which I use to make the recordings sound crisp and cleaner than their initial recording.
Drawing is possibly one of my greatest skills, and most of my voice acting is inspired by the characters I draw for my comics and stories. Although I've never published anything before, I look forward to everything as if it were my final cut.
