My Voice Experience

I worked for Hamleys Radio for 2 years doing promos for product, Comedy sketches, music introduction and competition annoucments to 8 floors of shoppers. These were pre-recorded slots played on a loop to give the illusion of a live show 24/7. I had the chance to do promotional voice work for Nickelodian and Lego in that time also. I appear on a number of popular podcasts each week such as 11 o'clock comics and Marvel Noise doing various comedy pieces and impressions. I'm about to record a part for a radio play on the Broken Sea web site. This will be a strong Russian accent that I'm currently researching. I worked in frontline retail for 10 years dealing with the public both in person and on the phone. I have used this experience both in my current job as an Estate Agent but also in reading to my children and recordings for others. This will be my first venture into paid voice work. I ask only for a chance to show what I can do. You will receive recordings on time and constant communication from myself. I wish to learn and deliver you the customer the very best standard of voice work.

My Studio Equipment

I use a laptop, mic and the Audacity recording program. I am however happy to use any software you wish to get the job done.

Additional Skills

I gained much experience whilst at Hamleys. I also did a training DVD for Blockbuster video many years ago. But since then I've been using my vocal skills in a non-voice job. In each and every job I've ever done I've been told that I should be doing something in the "Voice-over" industry. This is my first step into that world.
