My primary acting experience is as a Character Actor in Theatre.
Therefore, I have had ample opportunity to experiment with different voices and become comfortable with where they reside in my body. I am open to trying improvisation in order to discover a voice.
With 10 years professional acting experience, I have travelled extensively, working in such markets as New York, Boston, Annapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Hilton Head and Los Angeles.
One of my first V. O. jobs was a Lewis and Clark exhibit at the Speed Museum in Louisville, KY. I happened to be in Louisville training as an acting apprentice at The Actors Theatre Louisville. When I was approached by Donna Lawrence Productions, I hadn'teven considered voice-overs, but it just so happened that the skills I was learning there fed right into my work as a voice for Meriwether Lewis.
I have promo, commercial, documentary and audiobook experience.
I recently booked an audiobook through voice123 and record regularly with Habitat for Humanity.
