My Voice Experience

How much fun is this: I get paid to show off! Friends hear me in radio commercials as they drive to work, my kids' teachers see me pitch during PBS pledge breaks, and I entertain you in voice mail hell. I also teach how to sound entirely credible at narration...even if you majored in drama instead of quantum physics. That's because I've done industrial films for everyone from Adobe to Xrem. (Still look for a "z" client.)

I have hosted television (Beijing, Are You Ready?, Inside China, Land Of The Dragon) and radio shows (The Parent Club, Command Audio.) I also produced TV and radio shows for years. (PM/Evening Magazine, Oprah Winfrey, etc.)

Now I even have a professional studio, and am recording TV commercial v/o's, my student's demo reels, and more. Finally, I specialize in hosting live webcasts...and have done more than 300 for UBM. I hope to work with you soon...and do more showing off for fun and profit.

My Training

BA in drama from Eastern Washington University, classes/workshops from The Voice Factory, Beau Bonneau Casting, Nancy Hayes Casting, and private studies with Taylor Korobow, Joe Mazza, Byron Peters.

I also minored in Radio-Television, and my producing career (Oprah Winfrey, PM/Evening Magazine) gives me an insider's look at "what they're looking for."

Additional Skills

I can write commercials and industrial films, and have done so for Pacific Fertility Centers, Symantec, and tons of commercial clients in my early TV career. I coach nationally known talent, and am great at diagnosing problems and fixing them. I continue to consult on television shows. I have traveled extensively in China, and Italy, and can even speak a little Mandarin, and a little more Italian.

Finally, I do lots of on camera work, including over 300 high-tech webcasts, both audio and on-camera webinars for CMP.

Now for the fun stuff: Mom of twins, our daughter is a cancer survivor and dancer, our son is a track star, I adore knitting and baking, and just try and pull me off the ballroom dance floor!
