My Voice Experience
Wow! Where do I begin? Quite a sorted history of television voice charaters, radio commercial voice overs, movie trailers and concert promotions to about anything imagined by the copy-writers, producers, directors or myself! Radio and Television Station image liners and program bumpers, ETV and Corporate video narrations along with in person station talent appearances spanning 25 years.
My Training
It all began with Journalism and was hired immediately into Radio Broadcasting because of my deep voice at such a young age. I was entertaining on air at 17 years of age and by 25 had a nationally rated morning show. I ended up being the teacher at local schools and University as voice coach and director for their journalism departments.
My technical education aided me in developing the first computer based editing studios for radio and video editing pioneering for television as tape gave way to hard drives.
My Studio Equipment
Studio equipment includes two high end computer systems developed and built by myself for audio editing. Consoles have ranged from Harris and Midas systems to smaller Mackie and Yamaha mixers. My Mic of choice is of course, and has been for years, the shock mounted Electro-Voice RE20. SAW or Software Audio Workshop is my cornerstone for software as a multitrack recorder, wave form editor and the main stage for all my audio work. I have and will continue to use this brilliantly designed piece of software. Thank you Bob Lentini.
