Voice Description
Since 1969 I have worked for private radio and television stations throughout Canada. Most were in the middle of the road format but also included Contemporary Adult, Rock, Country and even Classical formats. I have enjoyed doing commercials and program scripts with room for creativity. My presentation is warm and moderately deep for narration but I am capable of varations for TV and radio ads and promotions.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
With persuasive practice I can immitate just about any accent. I have the most fun with various British accents due to my personal family lineage from Brighton, England. I have done impersonation skits of Bob Newhart and other comics.
My Voice Experience
Lately, I have been asked to do power point voice overs for churches that have their Annual budgets to present to their congregations which requires an awareness of their sensitivity to the topic due to their faith stance.
My Training
After completion of the Broadcasting course at Career Academy in Toronto, I began in the 1960's doing on air radio and then television, some ad agency commercials and on location live reporting and commentary. Later my skill was adapted to more regular radio commercials and television voice over presentations. Since being connected to the Anglican Church I have done many power point presentations and video program scripts.
My Studio Equipment
Since my time in radio and television studios throughout the country I have been more independant with mixing and recording on my own - and now I am using Ulead video and Goldwave Audio for computer recording.
Additional Skills
It might be interesting to note that I am seeking to become more self sufficient - my church work has been my interest for many years and the means of support - it is now my desire to use my talents in voice overs to be the main method of support which is to say that I would devote more time and effort in this field.
