I have a vast professional vocabulary, which can be utilized for professional voice-over purposes.

Having been raised on hip hop music, I can also speak "hip hop dialect" or "street slang" on a moment's notice.

I also invented and can perform a character -- an outspoken, charismatic, elderly African-American man, a character I call "Pops".

My Voice Experience

I have been doing voice overs, commercials, and broadcast anchor reporting for 6 years. I began doing professional voice-over work at Christian Tabernacle Church, which houses a professional recording studio and produces a weekly news magazine entitled "CTAB News". Over 5,000 members see the news broadcast each week, and many more online. I have participated in training sessions with professional broadcasters and voice-over professionals to develop my skills as a voice actor.

In my position with the magazine, I do voice overs, reporting, copywriting, as well as anchoring of newscasts.

I have also been a motivational speaker for 20 years, having contracted with schools, school districts, universities, and corporations. Many of my speaking assignments require giving motivational messages to students and adults on overcoming adversity, achieving academic excellence, self-motivation, personal service, and entrepreneurship.

My Training

I have been doing voice overs, commercials, and broadcast anchor reporting for 6 years. I have also been a motivational speaker for 20 years, having contracted with schools, school districts, universities, and corporations. I have also been involved in the performing arts, having appeared in various stage productions over the years. I attained my Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University, where I majored in Marketing, with a concentration in Media Communications. While in college, I completed courses in Voice and Diction, Public Speaking, and Improvisation/Theater Acting. I also write poetry and have had my works published by the National Library of Poetry.

I also attained a Juris Doctorate degree from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where I refined my public speaking and advocacy skills. All of my training and education have served me well in the areas of public speaking and spoken communication, either direct or by way of voice overs.
