BFA Acting: Pace University
MFA Acting: Brooklyn College
Originally from the eastern shore of Maryland, I came to NYC directly after high school and have been performing here ever since! I'm an actor, singer, writer, voice over artist, and teacher. My one woman cabaret show, “Jackpot,” originated and ran at the Duplex in Greenwich Village and I've loved performing all over NYC in venues including: Dixon Place, Galapagos, H.E.R.E., Expanded Arts, D.U.M.B.O., The Bushwick Starr, Theater for the New City, The Whitney Museum at Altria, Axis Theatre Company, Room 53, and the Tank. I toured nationally with Chamber Repertory Theatre and with Tyler Perry in I Can Do Bad All By Myself. I've been featured in several of DJ Mendel's films and also in Hal Hartley's Meanwhile. My TV credits include Orange Is the New Black and The Perfect Murder. I graduated from Brooklyn College with an M.F.A. in acting and Pace University with a B.F.A. in acting and have studied acting at HB Studio and voice with Helen Gallagher. I'm an adjunct professor at Pace University, sub-instructor at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, and I head Freshman Drama Club at Xavier High School. I've done commercial voice over spots for Plated, Allegra, Hood Cottage Cheese, French's, Rolaids, and Afflac.
