I have no specific professional voice over experience as of yet. In high school, participated in the making of an audiobook with different actors. I was chosen to read the lines of the main characters best friend, a ten year old boy. I loved that I was a girl who had the perfect voice for this male role.
I am a local theatre artist in Philadelphia, and am constantly telling stories to an audience using my voice. I've also been reading a lot of books aloud to the kids I nanny for, finding it a kind of second nature to read with intention and vary the voices of the characters. I love voice work, and as I have constantly received compliments and encouragement, I decided to try voice over work.
I have my BFA in Theatre, emphasis on Acting. I got a lot of one on one training at the Conservatory at the University of Utah, including the Kristen Linklater technique, amongst others. I have had several voice teachers, including John Nicholas Peters and Jean Jenet. I belong to a very successful cabaret company in the area, called the Bearded Ladies, and Applied Mechanics, an immersive theatre company.
