My Voice Experience

I remember when I was 5 years old and I was standing under our family shade tree talking with my cosin. I can't remember what we were talking about but I do remember expressing what I felt very passionatly. When I stop speaking my cosin looked at me and said "how do you know all of those big words?" I paused and thought It for a second then I said " I don't know I just know that they are right." I think it was then that I realized that I had a gift of speaking. Since then I've gone on to do radio and television ads, I am a proffesional spoken word artist and singer.I believe the tone and delivery of words can have more impact than the words themselves .

My Training

I belive my best training has come form over 15yrs of telephone sales experiance. It has taught me how to earn the trust of my client using nothing but my voice and proper word selection. It has also taugt me how to take a script and within minutes make it sound like it is not a script at all. I have had the pleasure of representing some wonderfull products and I have also represented some not so wonderfull products but I've learned to present them both convincingly and make it believable. I believe in many cases a sucessfull phone salesmen is nothing more than an undiscovered voice talent.

I am a active writer and spoken word artist. These skills allow me freedom to explore my vocal gift and push the boundries of a voice actor further than the average person. When I write I try to express complex ideas in a simplified manor. This causes me to pay more attention to the basics like tone, inflection, speed, delivery, energy and articulation.
