I have done quite a few here and theres, if you will. Mostly for artistic friends/venues and done my few things for the shady-craigslist types. I am consistently shaping and practicing my voice styles and methods whenever I am at my day job. I enjoy making all types of folk laugh and attempt to immitate. I worked Winter 2010 in NY for a indie rapper doing a Vincent Price voice over, in Spring 2011 in NY, I did a flashback scene for a Sundance entered short film for the production company named Kubbic-inch Prods., Summer 2011, I did a VO for a Texas Educational program where I played a cartooney Karl Marx. Overall, most, if not all of my work is charater based.
I went to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in Texas where I recieved a BA in Theatre (Acting/Directing focus). I took quite a few Voice and Diction classes and have taken a few university classes on marketing of VO talent and shaping voices to fit market types. I learned how to properly speak into mics and to be prepared for different situations for recordings and agencies.
I have little to no experience in studio equipment. I have friends who have made themselves readily available in the case that I am to record something to teach me, though.
I am most prevelant, at work and at parties with my very convincing small dog impression and the many animals, or Justin's Farm (Self named). I really enjoy being given a challenge to form my voice into any job or role. Whatever you would ask, I would attempt to do with no, "uh, maybe"'s. I will attempt and sculpt my voice into what is needed.
