Voice Description

My natural speaking voice is a very deep bass, often compared to James Earl Jones. This of course makes me well suited for presentations, announcer-esque reads, and the prototypical movie trailer. My range, however, extends beyond that, and I am as easily suited for the personable, guy next door character in commercials.

My Voice Experience

My best voice experience thus far comes from my job as an attorney. It always catches the attention of the judge and jury and I am now attempting to segue into voice over acting. I have thus far done a few projects for a friend's brother's start-up website overseas, the first of which has now been posted on the front page of his website: http://myuniii.com/

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Georgia Tech and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.

In the voice over world I have been studying with veteran voice over actor Bruce Kronenberg at Marla Kirban Voice Over in New York City.

My Studio Equipment

My home studio set-up is equipped with an Audio-Technica AT2020 microphone which, along with my MacBook Pro and Garage Band software, allows me to prepare studio quality pieces from my home.

Additional Skills

In law school, a visiting judge for a moot court competition once asked me if anyone ever told me that my voice "has the tendency to seduce the listener." Before and after that I have always received positive feedback regarding my voice and I have now been trained at effectively using this gift.
