Voice Description
Having been in the communcations business for more than 20 years, I've been able to put my voice to work in a wide variety of applications with great success: On-hold messages are succinct and informative; point-of-sale audio is light and upbeat; radio voiceovers are smooth and convincing; television narrations more serious. No matter what the situation, my clients know they'll receive maximum quality without the maximum price and attitude.

My Voice Experience
When I was five, my friends couldn't wait to go home and watch cartoons at lunchtime. Me? I'd tune into the local news and watch the original Jeopardy! Why? Because Don Pardo and the newscasters were just that cool!
I grew up a "media" kid and headed straight for a mic after high school at the tender age of 19. I've been a radio disc jockey, news reporter, anchor and director, and worked in front of and behind the camera in local television.
More than 20 years later, I stiill get a rush every time the "on air" light goes on. You'll likely hear me on telephone prompts and membership retention messages for AAA in the Midwest, and in point-of-sale (or in-store) audio messages for Kmart nationwide.
I'm also expanding into radio station and website imaging. What I do next may be up to you!
My Training
I was interested in radio and television growing up, thanks to portraying a radio announcer in an elementary school play, and my family's love of all kinds of music. It was natural for me to broaden my interest as I became older through writing for the school newspaper, performing on the high school stage and getting involved in some fairly primitive video productions at the time.
Voiceover work grew out of the good fortune to work in a variety of broadcast and print journalism jobs after high school, and a solid reputation for someone who is trustworthy, dependable and not afraid to accept new challenges.
My Studio Equipment
I have the Sony ACID Music Studio with microphone and a production library contained on my home studio PC.
