Voice Description
Trustworthy, honest,a salt of the earth sound, truthful, caring, and believable, father or grandfather, with a deep resonant voice, with authority. Unique, adaptable character voice actor with a wide range, like an old Mark Twain River Boat Captain or slow talking Texan, a sophisticated convincing and persuasive salesman(I am a trial lawyer with 40 years experience in real life) or a "good ole boy". A native Texan, with genuine Texas and Southern accents, such as a cowboy in the old wild west(think Gus or Call in Lonesome Dove)or a southern gentleman (Deep South),yet can deliver a straight forward radio announcer tag with no accent. My talent agent and voice coach believe I sound much like the "Wolf Brand Chili" voiceover actor and that my voice is completely unique. I am highly educated(BA and Juris Doctor degrees from SMU),professionally voice-trained in voice acting, knowledgeable in legal, medical, and engineering terminology, and precise at narration, especially in instructional videos, educational, historical (i.e. Smithsonian and museums), and audio book narratives, ith a smooth, professional, and polished presentation ability. I am a church liturgist and also sing bass in the church choir picked as the featured choir in Texas choral conference at Baylor University this year, so I can sing as well.
