Well, I believe in being honest. It's the only way I live. NO, I have not had years, and years of experience. I have dabbled in voices some years back, and now I'm getting back into it. (Career change) I have done many local commercials for our towns businesses, and people seem to be very pleased. I am a perfectionist..(a curse) and because of that, I will not submit a project to you until it is perfect. Or I will work with it and you until YOU are happy with it. I can't offer much more than that.
I started my voice interest late in high school.
Then I went on to take more english, voice, and t.v. broadcasting courses in college.
A couple of years after college, I attended the Bill Wade School of Radio Broadcasting in San Francisco, and graduated with my third class radio license. (DJ). So besides my formal training, as kind of a personal little quirk, I have spent years literally trying to copy any voice I've ever heard on t.v. or radio. From Jackie Gleason and "Norton", all the way up to our good old President.
I not only like to copy or duplicate movie or cartoon characters, but of course, this leads to spin-offs, or "invented" character voices. I really enjoy being given a detailed description of what you are after and then invent, or "give birth" to a brand new character made just for you............"one of a kind ".
I also love comic stuff. I like to write it and do it. I LOVE to make people laugh. Whether it is for "on hold" phone messages, voice overs, or a commercial you HAVE to come across funny and GRAB then attention of the listener. One way or another, I'm VERY good at getting someone's attention.
