Clients have called on me to be the husband, the son, the regular announcer-guy, the jittery co-worker, the cowboy, the pirate, the leprachaun, the drill sargent, the earth worm, the nerd, the dude, the dog, the singer, the over the top hair dresser - even Aunt Clara!

Whether I'm voice acting or performing a straight-up announcer read, I love letting my voice talents tell the story - whatever that story may be.

My Voice Experience

I've been performing voiceover work for nearly 25 years and working as a writer/copywriter since 1984. That experience - combined with my studio work - has helped fully refine my knack for brining a script alive when recording.

Voice projects that I've been involved in include: Radio commercials, TV commercials, Video Games, Corporate Training Videos, Jingles, On-Hold Messaging.

My Training

My college degree is in Theater. Shortly after graduating, I found my way into broadcasting and quickly converted those acting and writing skills into a career in Advertising. As a copywriter for a very busy Direct Client Radio station, I came to understand the ins and outs of voice over work. Having professional voice talent walk into the studio to record what I'd written showed me the value of interpretation.

Eventually, I got up the nerve to start doing bits and pieces of my own spots - gradually stretching and strengthening my style.

Since 1983, I've worked as a writer/producer for Advertising Agencies, Radio Stations, a Video Production House, as well as numerous freelance projects.

I've also used my skills reading books for childrens groups, Co-hosting Fund Raisers, and as a one of the Players in a Dinner Theater Troupe in Washington, DC.
