,
I have performed on stage in legitimate plays and musicals most of my life: from 1948-2000 in New York, Houston, Beaufort (SC), Santiago (Chile), and Recife (Brazil). Being multi-lingual/multi-cultural has given me an insight into different worlds that has informed my professional life as a university professor, performing artist, lecturer and translator.
Additionally, I have conducted workshops in performance arts at the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston, TX; have been Dramaturge and Artistic Director at the South Carolina New Playwrights Festival; and Dramaturge, Asst. Director, Director at STAGES, Inc., Houston, Texas.
