My world of voice work all began in 1985, when a Madrid radio station was looking for a couple of voices for a news and music early morning programme in English: Radio 80 Serie Oro (Golden Line, managed by Jesús Hermida. Two years on, the radio led to voice over contacts. Since then, I have worked through studios here in Madrid. Currently my voice can heard in the Prado Museum audio guides; an audio guide for Reina Sofia Museum; Madrid Bull Ring; Madrid Tourist Bus. Also audio guides for many museums and heritage sites throughout Spain.
From 2003- March 2012, I was one of the lead voices on Vaughan Radio here in Madrid, a station dedicated exclusively to English language teaching.
As from March of this year, I have been full time on voice work. The year so far has brought new ventures. Unexpected approval of my voice (and work) has come, independently, from two major aeronautical companies, recording pilot training programmes for specific aircraft. Also the voice of Boabdil in a video yet to be published on the fall of Granada. The producer paid me the enormous compliment of declaring that - after checking scores of voices - on hearing my demo, he had said "THAT is the voice of Boabdil"! Another (surprise) contract was to be chosen as narrator for a series of videos on the history of football.
