I began working as a voice artist when I lived in England, where I stayed for eight years. Highlights of work there include playing a "bitchy teenage penguin" and the scatter-brained Ice Queen in the cartoon "Grenadine and Peppermint" and also a national radio commercial playing a peppy cheerleader for Aer Lingus, the Irish airline. I was asked to play voices of various characters for theatre productions, as well as my voice is quite versatile.
I have a BA in Theatre Arts from New Mexico State University. I also trained with Marylou Thistleton-Smith of Voiceover Gallery UK and did voice study with Carolyne Byrne of The Actors Centre UK and Helen Ashton of City Lit in London. I have studied under improv guru Keith Johnstone, and most recently, with acting coaches to the stars, Stephen Bridgewater and Gerry Grennell at LA Standard Studio, and in Meisner Technique with Laurel Vouvray of In the Moment Acting Studio, Austin, TX. In addition, I have done numerous workshops with various major casting directors both in the UK and USA. I am also a professional actress and filmmaker.
I am a professional actress represented by Heyman Talent in Austin, TX. I have appeared on stage, national screen, and national radio in both the UK and USA. I also write, direct, and edit my own short films. In addition, I have studied and played music since the age of 5.
