My background is in theatre arts at Cornell University and I also have my law degree (I was a trial attorney in Boston until I gave up practice in order to act full-time after booking the lead in the feature film Interrogation (Boston International Film Festival selection)). I also worked as a newscaster in upstate New York. In LA, I appeared on stage at East West Players, directed by Elizabeth Pan in a work by Howard Fong, and in Lodestone Theatre's "Suddenly Last Summer" production. I also appeared on Dirt (FX), America's Most Wanted (FOX) and in a number of web series and audiobook series as a voiceover artist (Reading Rainbow, The Beacon Street Girls, My Lost and Found Life, The Little Black for Grrls, and more!). I wrote a web series, La La Land, for which I won an Accolade Award for best television pilot, lead actress. Since coming to New York, I became the president of the Asian American Film Lab and founded a children's book publishing company, MyJennyBook. I have also done a number of commercials and industrials and the off-off Broadway production of Paper Dragon.
