I have always been told that my voice was unique sounding. I'm 42 yet my voice sounds almost childlike with a raspy edge. I was once with a group in a room that had an older gentlemen guessing where everyone was raised. He pegged everyone in the room except for myself. I was born and raised in Virginia, yet I have no southern accent. He told me he was having trouble figuring out where I was from and eventually settled on Boston.

No schooling. I was in a band in the late 80's that released 3 albums and toured the country for 4 years. I was not the singer. Always August was the name. Not the new metal band but the band from the 80's.

I have friends in the music industry with equipment but do not know of its name.

Additional Skills

Very little experience other than a past music career. Isn't it about the voice? I want to learn.
