It began at the age of 10 when I received my first tape recorder. I would record television shows and copy the characters and dialogue. I imitated everyone from Charlie Calais to Jerry Lewis and from that point on I was hooked. I refined my voice over skills and began doing commercial work for a number of local businesses doing spots for new and used cars, restaurants, concerts & charitable events.
In high school I performed in many drama productions and studied Performing Arts my junior and senior years. From there I went straight into the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where I studied music theory, composition and arranging. Upon completion of my musical studies I played music professionally for several years. My interests then took me to Hollywood, CA where I began my studies in audio engineering and video production. Upon graduating from The Institute of Audio/Video Engineering I became a full time engineer at Sunset Sound Recorders in Hollywood where I worked on many VO projects including: Ragman's Son narrated by Kirk Douglas, The Cardinal Of The Kremlin narrated by David Ogden Stiers, and several Star Trek novels narrated by Leonard Nimoy, George Takai & James Doohan. I soon began persuing VO work myself and have participated in many VO workshops and seminars including Voice Over Bootcamp and Perfect Performance Program Clinics with Susan Berkley of The Great Voice Company, Harlan Hogan & Elaine Clark's Voice Coach Workshops and the Voice Over Essential Series workshop with Pat Fraley.
