Voice Description

Hi, I have been a professional Voice Artist and Musician for over 25 Yrs. In 2006-07 I attended MetalWorks Institute in Mississauga, ON, and have now struck out on my own to produce, record, and offer Post Production services.

I have an "Average Canadian Joe" voice in my natural speaking element, but due to training, I can make my voice as "powerful" as a "Monster Truck" announcer, as well as "That Radio Personality Guy", that most people can relate to. I have been told that I have a very sexy, natural timbre and an all around versitile voice.

I also write, record and master all my own songs and can provide music tracks.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am very good with silly accents. I can do the "Jean Guy" silly french accents, as well as, naturally being Canadian, those "Bob and Doug McKenzie" type sterotypical Canadian accents - EH?

I am also talented in the area of cartoon characters, being able to manipulate my voice into silly sounds. I have been doing this all my life, and now it is time to make my silliness provide some income for me.

My Voice Experience

I have been an on-air personality for a local Community Radio station. I have recorded many PSA's, Community Announcements and DJ Services.
During the 90's I spent much of my time doing Live Sound Engineering as well as touring with quite a few big name bands. Doing everything from mixing live sound to changing guitar strings.

I have also had much experience in the Television field, having worked as a General Manager for a Television Station based in Moose Factory, ON. I was there for over 2 years and learned how to edit video, insert voice-overs, replace audio in video, and acted as an On-Air personality.

My Training

Most of my announcing training came from first volunteering for our local community radio station, and working my way up to On-Air talent. I learned how to produce commercial spots, gather information for newscasts as well as performing DJ services for the radio station.
In 2006 I attended MetalWorks Institute - affiliated with MetalWorks Studio's - in Mississauga, ON. Where I learned about studio engineering, ProTools software and hardware, mixing, mastering, and using outboard effects and equipment to produce professional studio recordings.

My Studio Equipment

I have a collection of Ribbon as well as Large Condenser Mic's that are more than adequate to perform to your needs and requirements. I can provide RAW files for you to mix on your own, or a finished spot. Whether it is ProTools session or an Open Media file, the choice is your's.

My file formats are restricted to 48k - 24bit (Which should fulfil 99.999% of anyone trying to find Voice-over requirements).

Other than that, it's my computer's, my voice, and my professionalism that will get the job done. No matter what your requirements. Big or small no job is more important then the job I am doing for YOU!
