My Voice Experience

Having started voicing at the age of 11, I have learned to have a voice that does what my client wants. On radio promos for station sponsors, I have gone from strange and high pitched to deep alien to keep the listeners attention - plus mocking and many other varieties. My past has given me the ability to go boldly where few voices tread. I advertise bull semen for commercial DVDs, voice prompt for conferencing companies, record books for individual clients, smooth openings for web sites - what you need, I can do. My Training

Child star in 1962. While making a film the sound failed. I spent a month voice-overing to repair the damage. 2 years in the Royal Shakespeare Company as a teenager, working with Sir Peter Hall, John Barton and Trevor Nunn as directors - plus many of the best actors in the world, I learned a lot about the craft of voice. One of my bowstrings now is training executives to speak around the boardroom table and even on the phone as well as major presentations.

As a passionate hobby, I study psychology, persuasion and marketing and know how to interleave powerful influence sounds into what I say.

My Studio Equipment

Motu Ultralite preamp, AKG C3000 and Rode K2 mics, 6ft X 5ft sound proof booth, built by me. Apple Macbook Pro 2.8GHz. Many years of sound engineering have taught me how to get the best out of my voice and equipment.

Additional Skills

As a professional speaker and voice trainer and a Fellow of The Professional Speakers Association of Great Britain, I spent a lot of time showing others how to unlock the power of voice. Psychology, hypno-therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, persuasion, script writing and performance are subjects that I am enthused by and I use all of them when speaking or training speakers. I have trained leaders of large companies, politicians, sales teams and individuals to have a more flexible and effective voice. While training others I am continuously building my own ability
