Voice Description

I am a female voice actor with a standard American accent of the kind which is often referred to as a Newscaster's accent. In college I majored in Music Education with emphasis on Classical Vocal Performance. I have worked in various call centers including the California Relay Service (for deaf and hard of hearing), and in 2000 I had a 2 hour, 5 day a week Internet Talk Radio show on the, now defunct, mrradio.com. Most recently I have done short navigational spots and guided meditations for brain training software.

I believe that my voice is best suited for professional telephony and presentation/commercial voiceovers. However, I do have talent in performance so if there is something specific that you'd like to hear me do, please let me know.

My Studio Equipment

I have an audio-technica AT2020 Cardiod Condenser mic, and I use Audacity as my main recording software.

I have a quiet home studio, and am able to to basic editing to provide the best recording of my own voice, as well as adding requested music/sound effects.

Additional Skills

In my home office/studio I use multiple operating systems and service/repair my own equipment.
