Voice Description

My voice is very girly and fun. I am an experienced elementary school teacher so I have the experience of using different tones with my voice. I can be lively and entertaining for commercials or certain readings. I can also be smooth and sexy for more serious dialog. I can do a southern accent very well. I feel that my voice is such a great assett of mine due to the fact that I am able to fluctuate it and do many different tones with it. I credit this all to my teaching abilities.

My Voice Experience

My job experience is mainly with teaching. I have a bachelor's degree in education. I taught 5th grade in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. for only a year when I decided I wasn't exactly happy with what i was doing. So, I moved home to Pittsburgh, Pa. to try to find something a little more exciting. I have some experience with marketing/promotions, which I was doing as a side job in Florida. I also have experience with sales/retail and some event planning skills, which I have aquired over the years working for Jc Penney department store and Linden Hall Golf Resort. However, my main job experience is with teaching, which I feel is a major acting job in itself especially when dealing with elementary school children. The spotlight is always on you and you have got to constanly be an entertainer, a professional, a nurturer, and a guidance to the children. So, I guess you can say I am great at multi-tasking. This would be a great opportunity for me to break into something new using the skills I already have yet gaining new ones.

My Training

Once again, teaching has given me the skills I have to be able to utilize my voice talents. I have a bachelor's degree in education from California University of Pennsylvania, which I recieved in December 2003.
