I am very new to voice over work but over the past two year's I have been providing the voice recordings for NASA Education (a non profit I am affiliated with), the Carpentersville VFW weekly phone message sent with VOIP, and the McHenry County Republican party during the November 2008 election season also sent with VOIP.
I have had no formal training in voice over work I just have a natural ability to read or speak with a clear concise voice.
During college I did complete an English 101, and 102. I also completed two public speaking courses.
No studio equipment experience I have used a mic attached to a computer in a quite room for all of my VOIP messages to date.
I spent four years singing with a Barbershop chorus and Quartet during which time I worked directly with a voice coach. I use this ability to project my voice with a nice baritone sound speaking very clearly with correct diction.
I have held various offices with the VFW and American Legion speaking at all levels during Post, District, and state level meetings. I am also an accredited VA claims representative and recently I wrote and spoke to a group of Hospice medical professionals about Agent Orange and Presumptive Service Connected claims.
