I have made one ten minute documentary film for BASF Chemical Company and a brief introductory demo of a novel.
I have a BA from Williams College and studied acting and directing at Yale Drama School. I was a professional director In New York for 20 years, working with some of the great actors of my generation. I have taught acting at NYU, Hofstra, Ohio University, the Actors Studio and privately. I also have experience in film and television production. I won an Obie for Direction in 1980 and directed the first off Broadway play to win the Pulitzer Prize (No Place to Be Somebody in 1969 at the New York Shakespeare Festival). As an actor I have appeared in a least two dozen professional productions.
The Addition Studio's tracking room equipment is based on 24 track, digital hard disk recording systems supported by 24 bit resolution and sampling rates to 96 kHz. The studio utilizes both standalone and PC digital hard disk recorders with computer wave form editing programs.
The chosen front end of this system is based on time-tested analog console recording along with high quality, stand alone microphone preamplifiers, compressors and dynamic processors. A variety of microphones, condenser and dynamic, are available for the appropriate applications. Four separate playback/monitoring systems are used in monitor and mixing operations.
I worked for ten years with a boutique investment banking firm with offices in the World Trade Center. We created and sold tax exempt bonds for health care firms. I have extensive experience with phone work including sales.
