Voice Description

My voice is smooth baritone. It can be warm and deep at low volume. It can be sharp and commanding (military) at full throat. I wish I had a nickle for each "you should be on the radio".

Most people don't place me as a New Jersey Native. The accent does surface among fellow New Jerseyans and on command. It has a wiseguy quality.

Living in the south has also produced a variety of southern accents. I seem to pick up american accents quickly and deliver with authenticity. They never sound gratuitous or overdone.

My Voice Experience

Since puberty I've been told I should do radio. Most of my work has come recently. I've produced a number of recorded announcements for my church. Some have been broadcast on radio and TV.

My Training

I am self-taught. A bit of a ham. Being a musician has taught me restraint from over-performing.

I am a career electronics technician, trained in the USAF. As a radio operator I would often get "voice of God" comments after a transmission.

I assist in the operation of a small project studio in Ocala, FL. I also have a mobile setup of my own

I've done quite a number of different things.
